I don’t think we need a wide referendum for every feature decision we make, as 
this would be impractical. :)

The intent of these short feature consultations is to get some quick community 
feedback, to see if there are any serious issues which would require more 
discussion.

In the case of the opt-out feature, most of the feedback concurred with our 
team’s recommendation to implement the ‘enabled’ user preference (Option A), 
which is a pretty standard solution. So I don’t see a need to belabor the point 
at this time, as we have a number of more complex issues to discuss.

Today, we would love more feedback on our new question about Links to Commons. 
What do you guys think? 

How important is it that we feature a prominent link to Commons in the Media 
Viewer? Which of the proposed design options seem more useful?
