Okay, I created a test contact on my laptop, this was synced to the main
machine as you would expect. However when my wife's machine checked in,
I was presented with a whole bunch of duplicate entries saying things
like, tom smith is possibly a duplicate of ian hazelden, which one do
you want to keep? I decided to keep both, and then I had them all
duplicated in both my wife's and the main machine....
I don't know if this would then be duplicated back to the laptop, as I
swore a couple of times, made a cup of tea and nursed my hand having hit
the monitor..
Anyway, I'm trying it with just two machines now..
Here is the question though...
How should I have set this up?
It was setup with the main machine having two conduits, evolution to
syncml server on port 5079) and evolution to syncml server on port 5080.
My wife's machine was evolution to syncml client on port 5079 to the ip
address of the main machine.
The laptop was evolution to syncml client on port 5080 to the main
machines ip.
Having thought about this for a while, should they both be connected to
the same sync pair? Or should I make separate associations like I would
have done with remote_sync?
Anyway, I'm trying it with just a pair now... I'm sure my wife will
understand when she gets home ('ere where are all the diary dates?)
