Hi,
Application : Access and ASP.NET
Access :
tbl_Order : OrderId AutoNumber,
OrderDate Datetime,
Quantity Number
>From ASP.NET, I send INSERT statement to store value in the tbl_order table. As
>OrderID is AutoNumber, I don`t know what`s last number.
For Eg. Insert into tbl_order(orderdate, quantity) values('21-Dec-2003', 100).
Access auto-generate OrderID.
How do an ASP.NET application/interface know OrderID generated for this row.?
As application would be used by many users at the same time, I can`t use max
function.
