Hi Friends,
I am facing one problem.
I have one web application in asp.net. In the home page of that application i
have one frame. In the frame I am loading a page from the different web
application. Then in subsequent operation the second application runs in the
frame only. While loading first page of second app in frame i am setting one
session variable. Then in another pages of that application I am using the
value from the session variables.
This works fine in development scenario.
I am getting some problem on production. At production these two different
application has two different live IP. When I am accessing the app 1 online it
loads the home page of second app in frame without any problem. But when I am
going to any other page in the second app which is in frame - all the other
pages checks for the session values and it seems they dont find it.
My question is in this scenario cant I use session variables? I mean if i am
calling second app from the frame of the first app - both app have diff. IP -
do they have diff. set of session variables ?????
I am badly stuck in it. And its really urgent. It ll be very good for me if i
get some soln asap.
Thanks,
Dhrumit Desai
