Hello,

I have tried to install the MuscleCard Applet (Stable) (0.9.8) with the
Gemplus RAD III Kit version 3.2 (Build 037) under Windows 2000 Pro.
Therefore I read the README.GXPRADIII file. Normally I can
authenticate, scan ... the cards in the JCard Manager, so the reader
(Gemplus GemPC410-SL should work correctly). However, the convert
process fails. Here the output of the the Jcard Manager of the Gemplus
RAD III Kit:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Conversion in progress ...

Converter JC2.1 SUN Converter (version 1.0) Result on card GXP211_PK :

1.) Did anybody know what goes wrong? What could cause the "IO error"?
2.) Is there a possibility to get a more detailed error log/message of
the convert command?
3.) Can anybody give me the data of the environment to convert and load
the applet onto the card (which RAD version, OS and so on ...)?
4.) Could I make my own applet files (which I have to convert at my own,
too) without the Gemplus RAD III "projekt feature" and use the kit only
to load the converted .cap file? What would I have to do?
By the way: I have only Gemplus Gemxpresso 211PKis cards. Did the applet
"runs" on these cards or only on Gemplus Gemxpresso 211PK cards?

A lot of THANKS for help ...
Andreas Semt
