I finally downloaded the Microsoft CCID class driver. A signed (and daily 
countersigned) zip is available to anyone from the windows update catalogue: 
its under input devices, MS, search "CCID". If you know windows, you can 
have the signature, the counter signature, and the various cert signatures 
checked (or not checked) at install time, and/or dll load time.

Now, how do I do the following:

(a) connect the Win32 muscle framework to this (HAL) driver, without relying 
on MS PC/SC?

I need to get from the muscle plugin to the driver, essentially.

(b) what PID/VID are we using in muscle to help the usb enumeration locate 
muscle's CCID driver?

I want to change the install inf (and hopefully not the driver hex) so it 
will respond to a muscle device's PID/VID.
