Hi,

Formatting will fail if the applet is not loaded correctly.  You can 
either use the applet loader client (provided on the Identity Alliance 
website, soon to be on Alioth) or the SLB toolkit.

If it is the 32k eGate Cybeflex, the instance size should be 12000-14000 
and when you format make the object memory 7096 or close to that.
