Done.
And nothing happens.
And udev called /usr/sbin/pcscd --hotplug?
On Debian I need to call "/etc/init.d/udev reload" so that the new
rule file is used.
But why I cannot call pcscd --hotplug while pcscd is running in order
to make it rescan slots?
You can. it is a good way to test pcscd.
And I don't think the udev event is received by the rule.
Restart udev?
To configure pcscd you need to use:
./configure --enable-runpid=/var/run/pcscd.pid
But pcscd --hotplug would say:
pcscdaemon.c:397:main() Hotplug failed
if --enable-runpid=... is not used
Just a suggestion...
Maybe add an option not to install the rule at all, just leave it at src...?
Good idea. Maybe the Makefile should never install the udev rule file
and let the distributions packagers install it correctly.
Thanks
