I will be posting an email to muse-dev with background on this and other
contributions (hopefully I can update the issue with a link to the mailing list
archive after the fact). This piece of the contribution is our WEF API, which
is meant to be as "standalone" as possible so that other projects (event
producers and consumers) can use it without bringing in all of WSDM.
