Ok, I am convinced. I would be perfectly happy if we had a way to
check that an old Amazon link doesn't prevent a new one from
displaying the image. But since I can't see any way just by looking at
the URL to determine if the linked page is a standard or a user page,
I guess we will have to rely on scripts to make lists of Releases with
more than one Amazon link. Pretty easy to do.

This page http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B00000C3Y6 has been there
forever. I imagine just because the page was created by a seller, they still
utilize it for others selling the album. It's not directly for that seller.
Not like ebay which is per auction.

In my example, the page is still there, but the owner sold the album
in the last 2 weeks. There isn't any chance the seller will want to
sell the same product again, so if I were Amazon, I'd remove the old
pages from the web site once the album is sold.
