Nope. I was wrong. Of course, the colon should immediately after the work name, as usual in classical. I copied the example from CSGD without thinking. About the quotes, users who participated to the CSGD discussion agreed to omit quotes, but there hasn't been a vote, this is still a discussion (although I should maybe have called it RFC), so you are right to say you don't agree! which gives Die Walküre: Act 3, Scene 2, Hier bin ich, Vater (Brünnhilde) (mebourne's edited example on CSGD) Don Giovanni: Act 1, Scene 3, La ci darem la mano Some have suggested using roman numerals for acts. I personally hate roman numerals, but they are so widely used in classical that using them here won't make things much worse. Then these examples would become Die Walküre: Act III, Scene 2, Hier bin ich, Vater (Brünnhilde) Don Giovanni: Act I, Scene 3, La ci darem la mano But now I feel the last coma is a little ambiguous (because I removed the quotes). Maybe we should use the quotes or remplace the last coma with a colon. So Don Giovanni: Act I, Scene 3: La ci darem la mano or Don Giovanni: Act I, Scene 3, "La ci darem la mano" or even Don Giovanni: Act I, Scene 3 "La ci darem la mano" -- Frederic Da Vitoria
