+ 1 for *spoken word*

For *instrumental* I see that we are missing something, but I don't think
that the generic term is a good term to use. It is opposed to *vocal, *which
subdivides in many more specific types (aria, song, opera, mass…) and like
for vocal there are many sub-types of *instrumental* (concerto, symphony,
sonata…). I don't know what the people familiar with jazz, electronica, or
whatever genres I'm not familiar with would call a "song" without words. For
non classical instrumentals I'm listening to maybe "tune" or "tune
(instrumental)" would do the job…
