Thanks for these guidelines. (Are these on the Mutopia website somewhere? If
not, maybe they should be?) I am also interested in helping to update existing
Mutopia files to the most recent LilyPond version. It can be my way of giving
back to LilyPond while learning more about using it. I have recently started
working on these two:
S. Joplin - Original Rags
(LilyPond 1.8.0)
http://www.mutopiaproject.org/cgibin/piece-info.cgi?id=345
L. V. Beethoven - Sonata No. 14 "Moonlight"
(LilyPond 2.10.16)
http://www.mutopiaproject.org/cgibin/piece-info.cgi?id=276
I have never used GitHub, but I'm willing to learn.
Is there (or could there be in the future) any data on which works have been
downloaded the most? That would help us to focus our efforts -- if we knew
which works are most in demand, and thus in the most need of updating.
Something to consider anyway.
