 The IMAP server is definitely misbehaving.  There are messages marked
 \Deleted, the client has issued EXPUNGE, and the server has replied OK.
 Mutt can't do anything to fix this situation.

 Here is the relevant section of the IMAP4 proposed standard:
 http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc3501#section-6.4.3

 I also note that it is not returning untagged EXPUNGE responses either,
 which is at least consistent with it not having actually deleted anything.
