Then we're back to this being a breaking change, aren't we? It used to be
that the `^` was ignored, and the pattern was treated as if it had no
caret in it, so things worked, even if not quite as I thought they did.
Anyway, thanks for the `(...)` tip, that's useful. I had looked for
something like this in the muttrc man page, but had not thought to consult
the HTML manual.
