That's true: the subject looks OK in both vim and nano. (That is, when
replying to the original message.)

should try with other subjects to see whether the issue comes from the
particular character υ or always on the last character.
I'll try with other subjects containing Greek characters and I will report
my findings.

If I reply to the mail with the garbled subject, the subject appears
garbled in vim, too, i.e. Re: Μηνιαία Έξοδα Αυγούστο�.
