It still doesn't make sense. If the current list is "person1, person2" and
I hit "c" and type "person3", why should the truncated list contain only
"person1" ?

If it contained only "person3", I would understand.

People, PLEASE open a message in Mutt and test this before you repond. It
will save a lot of back and forth.
