Hi;

Since yesterday I receive the so called "Heise Newsticker" (the German
speaking members of mutt-users will probably know
http://www.heise.de/newsticker/) via e-Mail and all those mails are
store in =-ct. Because the sender is quite uninteresting but therefore
the time of the mail maybe interesting, I tried to set index_format to
something else than my default value just for this folder =-ct using
folder-hooks:

folder-hook . set index_format="%4C %Z %[%a·%d·%b] %-16.16F [%-12.12L] (%4l) %s%> %M"
folder-hook -ct$ set index_format="%4C %S %[%d.%m. %H:%Mh] (%3l) %s%> %M"

But when I enter now any folder, mutt says "%Z: unkown variable" and
$index_format is set to "%4C". I also tried single quotes around the
whole set-command and the same but with single quotes changed to
double quotes and vice versa. But that didn't help in any way.

It seems as if mutt is ignoring all quotes in the command parameter of
folder-hook.

I looked around in the WWW for some other examples, but didn't find
anything apropriate, except one: I wonder, if the line

# folder-hook DEADBEEF set hdr_format="%M %2N %-15.15F (%6c) %s"

in Sven Guckes's mutt.personal file
(http://www.math.fu-berlin.de/~guckes/setup/mutt.personal) is
commented because of the same reason as mine are at the moment.

BTW: A funny feature of the acutal mutt version is, that if you
execute "set ?hdr_format" it will return 'index_format="..."'. That's
what I call backwards compatibility. (P.S. to Sven: Angesichts dessen
wundert es mich, daß Deine Umbenennungswünsche nicht akzeptiert
wurden... :-)

Oh, nearly I forgot:
