Have you considered using the online config file builder that's linked
from Mutt's homepage? It's all drop-down menus and stuff and explains
what each option does. Pretty useful stuff for the beginner or the
lazy.

*yawn* Just my $0.02 after waking up. Good luck. Glad to see you
stuck with it. I was frustrated while I was going through the trouble
of configuring, too, but once I had a setup I liked, there was no going
back. I hope you find the same to be true :)
