I believe that mutt should automatically prepend the value of the set-folder variable to whatever the user enters as the destination folder when issuing the change-folder command (bound by default to 'c').
To get round this I have lived with mutt being executed from my mail folder dir - but this workaround is no longer convenient for me. Also you could map macro index c <change-folder>= But then you lose the (partially useful) functionality of the last active folder being offered by mutt as the default. Is there something wrong with this proposal? -- Eric Smith
