Apparently so. This seems to work as well: :macro pager M "<mail>[EMAIL PROTECTED]^M^M" I had thought that an index macro just executed commands in the index menu and would not be able to enter keystrokes into prompts from the <mail> command. I would have expected at least those last two '^M's in the second macro to have been executed after the <mail> command was completed. So I guess I don't understand mutt's macro processing as well as I though I did.
