Sure, just use this simple command from within mutt: !cd /usr/src/mutt && $EDITOR *.[ch] && make && sudo make install Then just quit mutt and start it up again. Of course, you'll need to type certain keystrokes while in the editor, but since that varies based on exactly which editor you use, i'll leave that part up to you. :)
