I am right, that IDLE is working only for ONE mailfolder?

Since I have to watch many mailfolders from  mailinglists  sometimes  my
mutt is VERY busy responding to mailfolder changes and such  because  it
is checking in the background the "mailboxes =.1 =.2 =.3 ..."
