I do the same thing, except the Postfix instance on the laptop is
configured to relay through the Postfix instance on the MX server.
Basically because the current connection and IP aren't in my name and
I can't be certain that all receiving MX servers will accept mail from
it directly.  Then I just need to make sure that the relaying is
authenticated appropriately and it's all fine.
