Tim, all I can say at this point

1 - for .31, no idea why this is happening now, maybe check .30 too
and I can compare the code.  Also try to play this stream from another
video player, maybe something in the config is wrong.

2. In the daily, the changes to increase support for VLC may have
changed support for streaming http video from an http server as you
are doing.   With the playlist you have, it actually doesn't matter
that it is vlc and that really should be removed from the equation.

I have tested resent builds with streaming audio and I haven't
experienced any problems so I think only streaming video needs to be
looked at.
