Ok, so in the slimdevices wiki I see this:
--------
SqueezeNetwork is an always-on service for your Squeezebox2 or Squeezebox v3

No need for a computer on, SqueezeNetwork will provide access to
InternetRadio Stations, Alarm Clocks and more.
--------
So... Correct me if I am wrong, but what I see here is a clever way for
Slimdevices to add proprietary value to THEIR devices. Follow me for a
moment - you have an open sourced server and have published several
protocols for communication between the server and the client. The
product is feature rich and hits the target audiance. Now that you have
found a following (and some copy cats (i.e. roku)) you add something to
the proprietary side. You add a feature and service (al-la apple style)
to the client - of which you have never published the code for... clever.

Unless you know the particulars about the protocol, I think this feature
will only be available for a squeezebox 2 or 3. Even if you did know,
Slimdevices might not take kindly to copy cats here.

Like I said, MClient can use the Slimserver as a portal to internet
radio stations. And if you don't keep your computer on (I haven't tried
this - but it should work) you can build your own dongle with your own
*.m3u file and place it into the file space used in creating the dongle.
So, after you boot up the mvpmc box you should be able to turn your
computer off and use the file browser to open the *.m3u file (which
should be sitting in the mvpmc's file space now) and connect to the
stations listed there as URLs.
