Yes, I have the same problems in both Composite and S-Video mode.  I'm
actually chiefly using it's largely unmentioned RGB output, which is also
 showing the same problems.  The unit is sending 575 lines of television
signal (625 - blanking), but is only actually sending 480 lines of picture
(i.e. 525 - blanking).

Also, I was unaware of the need to use the Windows software to hard-set
any defaults.  It's my understanding that the MVP doesn't hold any
defaults, and that's all in the software.  I know that mvpmc-0.3.3 itself
defaults to NTSC unless the command-line switches specify otherwise, which
in my case are set, but are being ignored by the unit.

Finally, the green/magenta blocks look like a problem with the mpeg
decoding rather than anything else....
