The only explanation for that are network problem or firewall.
Whether it is the Hauppauge dongle.bin  or mvpmc named dongle.bin the
load process is the same until the mvpmc.org log appears on the
screen.  The preferred server ip still needs to be the Windows machine
if you try and load mvpmc.

Alternatively try using GBPVR to load the mvpmc dongle.  It has better
server side logging of the tftp process.
