As Martin said, your syntax looks fine.

This is what I was getting at regarding mount.cifs. I got frustrated 
with it enough that I tracked down the source code to see what 
conditions trigger this misleading "Invalid argument" error. Although I 
don't recall the specifics, the error is in fact misleading, and can be 
triggered by things on the server side.

I'd recommend following the steps Martin outlined to make sure your 
server is behaving as expected.
