Couldn't find any reports on this in my (limited) gmail archive, the bug tracker, the forums or the mailing lists (the SF search server seems to be unavailable).
Whenever I delete a MythTV show from the mvpmc UI, the show in instantly deleted from the MythTV backend, but the MVP slows down to a crawl - I can see the lines of dialog boxes appear, the list of shows is refreshed by one line every few seconds, etc. Sometimes it comes back to an almost usable state after a few minutes, and a soft reboot (pressing the power button on the remote) seems to make it a little bit better. The only thing that works 100% is powering down and up again by pulling the power cable. The issue has been there with all the official releases that I can remember, at least a year back.
