Thanks for the links.

This looks like a nightmare then.  If I read it right you either need an
advanced electronics degree and a slodering iron or you have to severely
downgrade picture quality by cutting pin 16 and reverting to composite.

What do you mean by "no scart here"?  I have got 3 mvps and they all have
nothing else but scart.  Is this a European thing then?
