It would...but it'll take a long time, it has to build a whole set of 
cross-compilers, c-libraries, etc for the MediaMVP's PowerPC processor 
before it can even think about starting building all the 
libraries/programs that mvpmc needs, before eventually building mvpmc 
itself.

Binaries of the latest dongle.bin for the MVPMC are at

I think you're missing the point here.

There is no RPM package for Mandriva because, as I explained before, MVPMC 
provides no software which runs on the PC. It contains no custom server 
component. All you need is the binary dongle.bin from the main MVPMC 
homepage. This is served up to your MediaMVP using any TFTP server as 
described in the getting started guides on the wiki.
