A "fixed" address served up via DHCP still adheres to the same expiry
rules as a "non-fixed" address. In fact the client has absolutely no idea
that the address is fixed. All it knows is that the DHCP server offered an
IP address and it accepted it. It will honour the expiry in exactly the
same way whether "fixed" or not.
