It has a CF slot, or at least PCB headers for one, which is used for the 
wireless card on the wireless device

Not currently. mvpmc doesn't support this, and last thing I heard 
Hauppauge had yet to issue any updates which modified the firmware in 
flash.

That's not to say it wouldn't be possible, but it's certainly not 
something the mvpmc supports, and experimenting it would run quite a high 
risk of turning your mvpmc into a brick.

I'm not aware of any way of doing this at the moment.
