Yes I am up to date on all current patches in git. The big changes
in the bookmark code is for the type 9 recordings. Type 9 recording are ones
made with dvb, firewire, etc... If you use a ivtv card (PVR 250,350,500) then
you have type 6 recordings and this code has not really changed. Other than
some of the display bugs that we are getting fixed.

I haven't tested Michael Drons latest dongle, but have also observed
(and previously reported; see list archives) both of these bugs. So I
can confirm they exist.
The first intermittently occurs and takes some effort to reproduce. The
second happens always, as I recall.
