The one that I have is a Topseed Ehome variant (1784:0008) I found notes that
the 0001 variant works for transmit, but not the 0008 variant. I found an
actual page for the mceusb2 driver that said explicitly that this one is not
currently supported. And of course from the product description one cannot
figure out which one a given product is.

I have what should be a working config generated if the transmit would just
work.

info:
   idVendor 0x1784
   idProduct 0x0008
   bcdDevice 1.01
   iManufacturer 1 Topseed Technology Corp.
   iProduct 2 eHome Infrared Transceiver
   iSerial 3 TS0004x5
