I was wondering the same.  The graphic (from what I saw of the promo 
video (not really much to judge from)) looks very different from Syabas 
software (which I feel could be much better).  So it's a mystery to me 
what's inside.

As you said, doesn't appear to have an Ethernet port so not really 
useful WRT using it w/mvpmc or mythtv.

That is, unless you can figure out a way to make a mythtv box look like 
a USB HDD.  Not very likly, however, as, I assume, both boxes are USB 
hosts (i.e. not USB periferals).
