No, actually VLC (or something that is is relying on) is *BROKEN*. It fails directly from the command line in the same manner, and VLC (from others reports) fails in the same way on Windows, OSX, and several versions of Linux. So VLC can no longer transcode into mpeg1/2 formats, or something about the command line has changed that no one chose to document. I can find lots of reports, lots of claims of what is wrong from people that don't seem to actually know anything, but no working solutions. And I tried with that latest 0.9.8a and was able to duplicate the exact results, so there are issues somewhere. Is anyone using a vlc version >9 with mvpmc? It could be that ffmpeg changed something under vlc and that is the failure. ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ _______________________________________________ Mvpmc-users mailing list [email protected] https://lists.sourceforge.net/lists/listinfo/mvpmc-users mvpmc wiki: http://mvpmc.wikispaces.com/
