Hi, and again - thanks for the help!

I remove the -r option and now I'm only using -s, and it works better, I
could see a few recordings, but then it stops working. I need to restart
both the MythTV-server and the MVP to get it up and running correctly
again. Sometimes I cant watch recordings att all, and sometimes, I see a
few stuttering seconds and the it stops. It can look like this on the
MythTV console;
2009-03-25 19:54:24.277 MainServer::HandleVersion - Client speaks protocol
version 8 but we speak 40!
2009-03-25 19:54:24.282 MainServer::HandleAnnounce Playback
2009-03-25 19:54:24.282 adding: 192.168.0.41 as a client (events: 0)
2009-03-25 19:54:24.284 MainServer::HandleAnnounce FileTransfer
2009-03-25 19:54:24.284 adding: 192.168.0.41 as a remote file transfer
2009-03-25 19:54:32.210 MythSocket(856d118:84): writeData: Error, zerocnt
timeout
2009-03-25 19:54:37.773 MythSocket(856d118:84): writeData: Error, zerocnt
timeout

And on the MVP;
error in subpicture
error in subpicture
request block failed

I've also tried to view a little LiveTV but that fails all the times.

But I've noticed that I'm running Iquite old MythTV (0.21-fixes);
mythbackend version: 0.21.20080304-1 www.mythtv.org

Can it have something to do with the problem? Should I maybe upgrade this
weekend ...

Best regards, Lars Fredriksson

No.

The -o and -a switches are probably redundant with defaults, Consult:

This is probably the source of your problem. The preferred way to access
MythTV content is via the MythTV protocol, but this switches forces
mvpmc to use the old style NFS file access mode.

I've updated the wiki to clarify this.
