I don't follow. You mean they don't make it easy?

They promoted that they were running Linux, made the source available, 
and encouraged third party development. So shouldn't it have been 
possible to port a MythTV client to it? (Not trivial, but should be 
possible, unless there is no space for additional code, or they kept 
important bits proprietary.)
