Ref why your parsed task is showing in Outline but not To-Do: - This can only be because of a filter that's being applied. You haven't provided enough information to suggest what this may be but as a general principle I would remove all filters (look at ALL the elements in the Filter panel, also Task To-Do visibility in the General section of the Properties Pane, also any views that are applied) and progressively re-introduce them to locate the problem.
