Not sure which platform you are using, so the following may not apply.
I do the following on Windows 10 (for a different app):
- highlight the link in the MLO note
- copy to clipboard (Ctrl-C)
- right click the windows icon (lower left)
- in the pop-up menu, left-click "Run"
- in the Run Dialog box, in the "Open" text field, paste copied text
(Ctrl-V)
- press return, or click OK.
It's clunky, but works.
