Follow-up Comment #1, bug #15854 (project mypaint):
I must disagree with you Przemysław; I find MyPaint's time-based undo
history far more useful than GIMP's stroke-based undo history, precisely
because I can partially undo strokes.
This is because usually, if I am drawing a complex shape, I will have the
stylus down for long times in one or two continuous strokes. Often I get to a
point where I have just messed up the direction of a line (and I don't want to
undo my entire shape! just the last little bit.)
