Follow-up Comment #1, bug #15989 (project mypaint):
Proposed long term solution (discussed by Jon and Martin in May, 2010):
1) Move the "Edit" expander part of Brush Selection window to the Brush
Settings window.
2) Put the settings that might be used during painting in an expander in the
Brush Selection window (a tiny subset)
3) Let the Brush Settings window have all the settings, probably with the
most obscure hidden under an expander.
4) Probably rename the Brush Settings to Brush Editor
This would make the two windows cater to the two different use-cases:
* While painting -> Brush Selection
* When creating brushes -> Brush Editor
