Follow-up Comment #3, bug #15989 (project mypaint):

Hi, i think it is important to prevent users say YAAAAAAUGGH! i dont wanna go
crazy! XDD. this is my idea to organize the parameters in basic mode .

his is an SVG that i have done with inkscape to visualize what i was thinking
in these days. Based on my own experience i´ve found MyPaint, as an Amazing
Software but very unknown for now. And when you open for the first time, you
can see that you can manipulate lot of things on brush editor.that can be
very confussing, but what if we have two brush editor modes? a simple one
,like this with very simple but powerful and usual options, and the second
mode ,the advanced mode.
This will help Newbies to understand, feel comfortable and get used to
mypaint interface. The parameters are ordered here using the "logic". i made
them thinking as a newbie .so first we will search for Brushsize, then i will
look if i can squeeze a bit (shape manipulation)with aspect ratio, then when i
have a defined shape , i will try to turn 90 degrees and more...(angle) . More
in deep controlling the appeareance i will look for the opacity or
transparency .Then i will set up the hardness and try to spread the brush
along the path using the jitter or scatter option. At this moment i see the
follow parameter witch allow me to give the "slow" look for inking purposes
or very detailed brushstrokes.Velocity talk by itself. Once the brush is done
, then we can control how the color changes on the brushtroke, and how is
mixed with the canvas.
This is a natural workflow to do Brushes and edit them.
When the user is Get used to this we can continue if we want to the next
level.

thanks to Griatch for the brain storm idea of Preview. and also Blender guys
for the newsliders shape. (more visuals.it will be great to have the acurate
of Ctrl+drag and Shift+Drag.)
This idea could be good even for Kids because it is very simple and
efective.

If you like the idea ..let me know. any comments are welcome, Add to the wiki
if you find this interesting.. The second part will be Advanced Editor, Stay
Tuned!
