Details:
There's two [probably related] issues here:
1) When using MyPaint, the mouse will work fine. However, as soon as the
tablet is used, the mouse stops to function within the paint area. It can
still be used to click menu items and things like that, but cannot be used to
paint, scroll, or zoom.

- The device change: Core Pointer happens if the mouse is used first after
application launch
- The switch to the tablet occurs once the tablet is activated, and MyPaint
will no longer do a device change back to the mouse.
2) This is similar to what is listed below, except the triggering event is
when MyPaint loses focus.
Scenario: Start MyPaint, paint/use the mouse, ALT+TAB or give another window
focus, come back to MyPaint, and the mouse no longer works properly -- same
loss of functionality as above.
