Follow-up Comment #11, bug #16569 (project mypaint):
I managed to compile MyPaint with martin's event rate tool, and made some
measurements.
I found that with my Bamboo Fun tablet, the number of MOTION_NOTIFY events a
second is about 133-134, and with my mouse it's about 123-125.
The number of suppressed events seems to confirm these numbers. A couple of
tests showed 1325 events suppressed in ten seconds with the stylus, and 1274
events suppressed in ten seconds with the mouse.
So, these numbers don't seem to explain the problem itself. I do still see
the problem, so the new build didn't fix that.
