Mypaint is fast to use- really fast, so fast that I occasionally paint on the
pencil layer, or ink on the paint layer, whatever. When this finally gets
noticed later it is a huge PITA to deal with- my fault I know. But, I'm
guessing many artists assign layers to use with a specific brush, and it would
be great to lock a layer to a brush, say by dragging from the brush list to
that layer, where you would see a mini brush icon in the layer. When you
switch to that layer it would change the current brush to the layer brush
(perhaps even preserving it's settings like color and size), switching layers
reverts back to previous brush.This would save a huge amount of brush
selecting/adjusting, and I think it would be a great productivity enhancer. As
a side note, erasers would be allowed on the "brush layer" obviously.
