Details:
Okay, this is weird.
Steps:
-Close any MyPaint instances.
-Open a new MyPaint instance.
-Try to change the hue/saturation on the Color Sampler
*For me, the cursor position is always offset above the visual cursor until I
'fix' it.
There are other things too.
-Once fixed, you have to restart MyPaint to reproduce the bug.
-It sometimes happens in the Brush List too, but never on the canvas.
-Clicking on the canvas and then back to the dock does not fix it. There is
no offset on the canvas.
-Changing the color via the RGB sliders or the Color Triangle usually fixes
the offset. So far, the Color Triangle seems to be immune to the offset bug.
-If I resize the dock, the offset goes away. Currently my dock is just wide
enough to hold four brushes in each row of the Brush List.
-If I start MyPaint with the dock two or five brushes wide, the offset
doesn't seem to happen. If I start MyPaint with the dock three or four brushes
wide, the bug appears.
-If I open an image or the Preference menu, there is no offset on those
dialogs, but the offset on the Color Sampler/dock remains. Again, there is no
offset on the canvas itself.
-If I toggle the dock (TAB), the offset goes away.
-If I detach the Color Sampler from the dock, the offset goes away.
-If I start MyPaint with the Color Sampler detached, there is no offset.
-If I switch between MyPaint and GIMP, there is no offset in GIMP, but there
is in MyPaint.
This seems to be some kind of bug specific to the dock. If you need any more
information, just ask.
