Follow-up Comment #8, bug #18444 (project mypaint): Found it again. I have no idea how to reproduce this bug. It's seemingly random. I did manage to record a video of it in action though. I hope it helps. I just upgraded my MyPaint installation today (Aug 13), so it should be the latest version.
